The final quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 dining and restaurant apps in the Middle East. Here is a detailed look at their weekly downloads and active user metrics.

McDonald’s - Non-US experienced a varying trend in weekly downloads, starting with around 79K in late September and fluctuating throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately 91K in mid-October. Weekly active users for the app showed a steady increase from 683K to a peak of 814K in early December, before slightly declining to 727K by the end of December.

KFC Saudi Arabia saw a significant peak in weekly downloads in late October, reaching 107K. The downloads then stabilized around 69K towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users reflected a similar pattern, increasing from 297K in late September to a high of 347K in late October, before stabilizing around 297K by the end of December.

Starbucks KSA launched in early October and saw an initial surge in downloads, peaking at approximately 139K in the week of October 10. However, downloads gradually declined to around 26K by the end of December. Active users followed suit, peaking at around 198K in late October and then stabilizing around 158K by the end of the quarter.

Al Tazaj - KSA had a notable peak in weekly downloads in late October, reaching 54K, before stabilizing around 19K towards the end of December. Active users showed a similar trend, peaking at 92K in mid-November and stabilizing around 54K by the end of December.

ALBAIK maintained steady weekly downloads, fluctuating between 19K and 30K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users showed a consistent trend, starting at 110K in late September and ending with a slight increase to 96K by the end of December.
